This tool was created for a group of professional musicians based in Bath, UK. They wanted an app that allowed them create and share their arrangements, and add lyrics and notations.
I delivered a simple web application that allows them to create and annotate chord charts very quickly.
Project Summary
Using WordPress as the starting point CMS, I developed a bespoke ajax-driven app.
The interface allows chords to be entered in an intuitive way that only takes a few seconds to learn, and follows standard conventions for jazz chord notation, including those found in The Real Book and other printed materials. The app keeps a stable layout across different devices and can be used on a tablet.
